What we collect
- Account: your email and a salted, hashed password.
- Content you upload: instructions, knowledge files (as extracted text) and bot settings.
- API keys: stored encrypted and never displayed again.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and Stripe customer ID, not your card number.
- Technical data: IP addresses are used briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Visitor chats
Messages typed into a bot page are sent to the AI provider the bot's owner selected (OpenAI or Anthropic), or to Cloudflare Workers AI during the free preview, to generate a reply. We do not store chat transcripts. Relevant excerpts of the owner's files are sent along with the message so the model can answer.
Who processes data
Cloudflare (hosting, database, preview AI), Stripe (payments), SendGrid (account emails such as password resets), and your chosen AI provider. We do not sell personal data.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete any bot and its files from your account. To delete your account, email techsupport@kimcdang.com.
Chrome extension
The GPT Migrator Chrome extension runs only on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com, and only when you click Export. It uses your existing ChatGPT login to read the instructions and knowledge files of the GPT you choose and saves them to a zip file on your own computer. The extension does not send that data, your login, or any browsing activity to us or to anyone else, has no analytics or tracking, and stores nothing. The only links it contains open gptmigrator.com in a new tab.

We use one essential login cookie. No advertising or tracking cookies.
