Short answerMistral's documentation describes Le Chat Agents as a legacy Chat feature being phased out in favor of Skills, so we would not start a new build there without checking. Libraries accept many file types up to 100 MB each.
- Agents: created from the Chat tab with required instructions; sharing as Collaborator or Viewer. Docs say the Chat tab is being removed progressively with Skills as the replacement, and that Chat Agents cannot be used through the API (create agents in Studio for that).
- Libraries (knowledge): PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CSV, Markdown, JSON, images and more; up to 100 files per batch and 100 MB per file.
- Plans: the docs and pricing page disagree about which plans include custom agents, so confirm.
Hosted only; no migration guide found. Compare other options in alternatives and consider skills: SKILL.md format.
