Short answerBotpress has no official Custom GPT import guide we could find; its own blog says migration is a manual rebuild. Use an Autonomous Node for your instructions, add documents (up to 50 MB each) to the knowledge base, and rebuild Actions as TypeScript actions.
How the parts map
| Your GPT | In Botpress |
|---|---|
| Instructions | The Instructions field of an Autonomous Node |
| Knowledge files | Knowledge Base: websites, documents (.pdf, .html, .txt, .doc, .docx, .md up to 50 MB each), tables, rich text, integrations such as Notion and Google Drive |
| Actions | Actions are TypeScript functions available in Autonomous Nodes; Execute Code cards can call APIs |
| Sharing | Webchat embedded by script or in an HTML element; white-label webchat on Plus and above |
Good to know
- The docs recommend a model roughly comparable to GPT-4.1 or better for Autonomous Nodes.
- Botpress notes older limits pages that can conflict with the pricing page, so use the pricing page for plan numbers: see pricing.
- Voice is listed as Enterprise only.
Plan the rebuild with the checklist, and test with the test set.
Check your GPT before you move it
Paste your instructions, file names and Actions schema into the free checker. It runs in your browser and builds a portable bundle. Nothing is uploaded.
